Commscanner is a new venture from Leeds branding legends BML Creative. Organisations with complex marketing campaigns can create unique short URLs and for each channel (whether print or digital) and then track the performance - and value for money - of each channel in one dashboard.
We built the technology for Commscanner using Rails and a very highly customized installation of Active Admin, which gave us a headstart on implementing the core features in a very short space of time. It also features:
- QR code generation
- Data history capture and graphs
- PDF report generation (using Prawn PDF)
- Multi-tenancy with a dedicated short URL domain name for each tenant
