Online store Sampleism hired Fish Percolator to work on a very technical problem. They were building a new website using conventional technologies and needed to get all the data out of their existing platform so it could be loaded into their new one.
The previous platform was based on the proprietary NoSQL technology of one cloud provider, and a complex migration app needed to be developed in Rails to fully extract all of this data into a more conventional SQL format that could be used on the new cloud provider.
